Want to check out the new trends, Lakme Fashion Week to start on Oct 13th

If you want to check out the upcoming festive trends or wedding couture, its time to get ready for the runway moments. Lakmé Fashion Week presented in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India and Reliance Brands, is taking over New Delhi from October 13 to18, 2026. Moving to the Taj Palace, New Delhi, this season brings six days of back-to-back shows, global collaborations, and direct-from-the-runway shopping. The runway lineup brings high-profile returns and celebrated Indian craft back to the center stage.

Manish Malhotra Returns

After three years away from the LFW stage, the couture legend Manish Malhotra is back to unveil his latest festive collection. Though he was scheduled to attend the LFW Mumbai edition in March, he couldn’t attend it due to personal reasons. Fashion lovers are eager to witness the definitive trends by Manish Malhotra for the upcoming celebratory and wedding season.

From Aneeth Arora's collection

Aneeth Arora’s label pēro kicks off the week in collaboration with Lakmé and Tira, bringing handcrafted fabrics and playful storytelling to the runway. Runway icons like Tarun Tahiliani, Suneet Varma, Namrata Joshipura, and Ashish N Soni will all present prime-time collections.

AM.IT’s Architectural Grand Finale

Closing the week on 18th, AM.IT by Amit Aggarwal will present the House of Lakmé Grand Finale. Known for futuristic, structured shapes and industrial craft, Aggarwal’s collection is expected to explore sharp, 3D architectural silhouettes that seamlessly shift from daywear to evening glam. The show anchors Lakmé’s "5 PM Glam Reset" concept, alongside their new hydrating 9to5 Hya Glam beauty lineup.

Global Style Exchanges & Himalayan Heritage

This edition expands its lens beyond classic runway narratives to spotlight international and regional traditions. It includes cross-cultural showcases, FDCI x Moscow Fashion Week with Russian designer Sergey Sysoev, and "Eccellenza", a dedicated celebration of Italian craftsmanship.

The showcase "The Fifth Season" brings the rich textile heritage and indigenous weaves of the Himalayan region straight to the capital. Seven global finalists will present zero-waste and recycled fashion ideas at the Embassy of France on October 13 for the R|Elan™ Circular Design Challenge.
