Mercedes-Benz launches G450d, the G-Class Diesel
Mercedes-Benz launches the all-new G450d for the Indian market, with the most powerful diesel engine in Mercedes portfolio.

The Mercedes-Benz G 450d starts at Rs. 2.90 Cr. onwards. (Prices all-India ex-showroom).
Now, in India, the G-Class has a diesel, petrol and an electric powertrain to be chosen from.
The All-new 3.0L Inline 6-cylinder engine that delivers 270 kW and 750 Nm torque now with 48V Mild Hybrid technology with additional 15 kW assist.
There are only 50 units of the G450d available for the initial allocations.

The launch of the G450d underlines practicality with performance and explains the continued high demand for a diesel mill in a G-Class, says Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
The All-new 3.0L Inline 6-cylinder engine that delivers 270 kW and 750 Nm torque now with 48V Mild Hybrid technology with additional 15 kW assist.
Equipped with the latest MBUX NTG7 infotainment system, offering seamless connectivity
and an intuitive user interface, including Augmented Reality Navigation.
The luxurious interior features two-tone Nappa leather, Burmester 3D Surround Sound
with Dolby Atmos, high-quality materials, and a customizable ambient lighting system.
Unique MANUFAKTUR upholstery and MANUFAKTUR paint options available for customization.
The technology package enhances the new Mercedes-Benz G 450d with a more
comprehensive suite of ADAS functions.

Highlights of the off-roading character:
1.Up to 100% gradeability on suitable surfaces
2.Ground clearance between the axles of at least 241 mm
3.Maximum fording depth of 70 cm for water and mud
4.Stable driving on sideward slopes of up to 35°
5.Approach and departure angles of 31° at the front and 30° at the rear (without trailer hitch)
6.Breakover angle of 26°
